Hey guys! My blog posts have been few and far between lately. Between work and shooting weddings on the weekends, my plate has been pretty full. When I do find the time to work on my blog, it’s already dark outside and the lighting is awful in my apartment for photos. Soon I will be dedicating some time on the weekends to pre-write my posts so I have content throughout the week! 🙂
But enough about that, let’s talk about some fun new products I’ve been using.
I picked up these two goodies at Target the other day. They’re both from Garnier’s SkinActive line. The top photo is the Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream. This product is so unlike many other moisturizers I’ve tried. It’s a light blue-green gel that is super hydrating and cooling on my face. This is actually my second time purchasing this product, because I used up the first one I bought completely. I have sensitive skin and this hasn’t irritated my face or broken me out at all. The only thing that I dislike is when it’s cold in my apartment, this makes my face feel so cold! I love that it comes in a pot container, and it retails for only $6.86. That’s ridiculously inexpensive for a moisturizer. You can find this product here.
The second product I purchased is the Garnier SkinActive Ultra-Lift Anti-Aging Moisturizer & Serum, 1.7 fl. oz. I have a bit of an obsession with serums, and the cool packaging on this product convinced me to try it. It’s a pump bottle and the product in the container is in a cool swirling pattern. The scent of this product is difficult for me to describe. I don’t hate it, but I really don’t know if I like it either? Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don’t. Luckily it fades pretty quickly, and the product is so soft and hydrating that I don’t mind the smell much. I noticed that my skin feels moisturized for much longer when I use this product versus when I use other moisturizers. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy or greasy, and so far I’ve had no issues with it breaking me out either.
I think this would be a great product for traveling, and it’s great to use before applying your makeup. I purchased this for $12.99 and I think it was definitely worth it.
Have any of my readers tried this products and do you like them? What are some inexpensive skincare products that you love? Let me know in the comments♡
