Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting with my best friend of 10+ years. Emma and I met in elementary school, became friends in middle school, and continued our friendship throughout college.
We have a lot in common. We’re both married and we both have a passion for our businesses. Emma is a momma-to-be, and the face and owner of The Cotton House Trading Co., an awesome online boutique with women’s apparel, shoes, jewelry, and other fun accessories. Emma has always been passionate about fashion, so I’m super proud that she’s following her dreams. It takes a lot to run a successful business, and I’m stoked to see where she’s headed.
I’ve been dying to do some portrait photography featuring different products, so I was really hyped to do this shoot. Even though I shoot weddings with Skyler, it’s the one-on-one sessions, product shots, and detail shots that I have a passion for.
The wind was crazy but Emma was such a good model. We shot at the trails at our local park, and then at an adorable park with a little white house that I had never even knew existed.
How freaking cute is she?
I ended up getting sunburnt (damn you Texas, it’s only March), but it was oh so worth it.
I’ll continue doing photos with Emma as she gets more products in. I live for relaxed sessions like these. There’s nothing better than already being so comfortable with one another.
