May Ipsy Bag

I feel like this month is just flying by! It seems like every time I sit down to blog I have another Ipsy bag to talk about. I’ve been reading about a lot of disappointed Ipsy subscribers online, but I’m still quite happy with my bag. Most of the products I receive have always been consistent with my profile, and even though I usually get one item I’m not crazy about, the other products always make up for it. Read More »

My Experience Buying Swimsuits from Zaful

Hey friends!

I’m sitting here having my morning coffee and looking around my nearly-empty apartment. Skyler and I are moving out at the end of this month, and we’ve already taken most of our things to his parents’ house. They’re going to store our possessions for a few months while we go on a summer roadtrip! It’s super weird because we’ve lived in this townhome ever since we moved to Denton three years ago. As much as I love being in this location, since I graduated university I really just want a fresh start in a new home. So the road will be our home for a few months as we explore the West Coast (AKA the BEST coast). Then after that: who knows! We’ll figure out where we want to be. In preparation for our roadtrip I decided to order some bikinis from the trendy online store Zaful. Read More »

Used & Abused: Affordable Makeup

Hey friends!

I’ve seen the used and abused makeup blog posts and videos floating around for years now, so I figured I would share some of my favorite used and abused products. I’m so used to taking photos of makeup in pristine packaging and doing my best to make it look as nice as possible. I think this makeup tag is fun because it opens your eyes to the products you love the most. If I have products that I have hit pan on then I know it’s an item I really enjoy and will almost definitely repurchase. All of these products are old news, but to me they’re worthwhile products that I will continue to purchase again and again.Read More »

Review: Burt’s Bees BB Cream

Hey friends!

With summer weather right around the corner, I know I’ll be using foundation much less and reaching for BB cream more (or just SPF). As a wedding photographer, I need to look put together at shoots without completely sweating my face off too. Despite what many people think, shooting a wedding is a lot of work and involves a lot of physical activity. I had been using my go to Almay Smart Shade CC Cream, but my best friend gave me two of the Burt’s Bees BB creams to try out.Read More »

Review: L’Oreal Voluminous Liner

I’ve been wearing eyeliner for ten years now, and always stick to liquid eyeliner. I’ve tried felt tips in the past, and no matter how badly I wanted to like them, I just never quite saw the results from a felt tip that I do from a regular liquid eyeliner.

I’ve been searching for something new since I’m a little bored of my eyeliner collection, and decided to try the L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Liner Noir liquid eyeliner. Read More »
