I feel like this month is just flying by! It seems like every time I sit down to blog I have another Ipsy bag to talk about. I’ve been reading about a lot of disappointed Ipsy subscribers online, but I’m still quite happy with my bag. Most of the products I receive have always been consistent with my profile, and even though I usually get one item I’m not crazy about, the other products always make up for it. Read More »
I’ve seen the used and abused makeup blog posts and videos floating around for years now, so I figured I would share some of my favorite used and abused products. I’m so used to taking photos of makeup in pristine packaging and doing my best to make it look as nice as possible. I think this makeup tag is fun because it opens your eyes to the products you love the most. If I have products that I have hit pan on then I know it’s an item I really enjoy and will almost definitely repurchase. All of these products are old news, but to me they’re worthwhile products that I will continue to purchase again and again.Read More »
With summer weather right around the corner, I know I’ll be using foundation much less and reaching for BB cream more (or just SPF). As a wedding photographer, I need to look put together at shoots without completely sweating my face off too. Despite what many people think, shooting a wedding is a lot of work and involves a lot of physical activity. It’s a rainy Wednesday in north Texas today. It stormed all day yesterday and it’s supposed to storm most of today. I’m taking some time to relax with my dog, have a few cups of coffee, watch some youtube videos, and maybe do a bit of reading too. Rainy days are always the best when you don’t have much going on and you can lay around the house without feeling bad. As much as I appreciate a rainy day, I am ready for some sunshine so we can do some photo shoots.
It’s March guys!!
One of my favorite months (besides October of course) by far. March has it all for me. The beginning of spring, wildflowers sprouting, warm weather, and the time change have me so excited for summer. One of the perks of living in North Texas is how fast the weather warms up. I’m sure I’ll be wishing for cold days once July rolls around, but for now I’m seriously enjoying these warm and sunny afternoons.
I didn’t think Ipsy would keep killing it, but they are consistently surprising me as each month seems to get better and better.Read More »
