After too much time browsing r/panporn on Reddit, I decided I needed to start my own Project Pan. I know in my last few recent blog posts I’ve talked about transitioning to cruelty-free beauty products, but I still have quite a few non-cruelty free makeup products to go through. I won’t be throwing them away (that’s just a waste of money and product), so I’m going to be forcing myself to use most of them all up.
I’ll be talking about which products I’ve been panning, as well as what I’m considering for their replacements.Read More »
So I know in my last blog post I said that I had paused my Ipsy subscription. Well that lasted about two weeks before I decided, nope! Don’t like that. Makeup is a huge part of my life and getting subscription boxes is honestly just too fun. It makes me happy, so I decided it will stay.
So June’s Ipsy bag was equally great and slightly disappointing for me. I’ll tell you why.Read More »
Emily + Dylan Anniversary sessions hold a special place in our hearts. They reveal a deep and wise type of love. To have known and loved someone for years is something special. All I can do is apologize for how inactive I’ve been lately. It’s not that I haven’t wanted to do blog posts: I’ve literally just been so busy the past few weeks that I haven’t had the time to sit down to write or even take photos for the blog.
May was our last month in our apartment, so the last week or so of May consisted of us packing all of our things and getting ready to move it all. Read More »
I feel like this month is just flying by! It seems like every time I sit down to blog I have another Ipsy bag to talk about. I’ve been reading about a lot of disappointed Ipsy subscribers online, but I’m still quite happy with my bag. Most of the products I receive have always been consistent with my profile, and even though I usually get one item I’m not crazy about, the other products always make up for it. Read More »
I’m sitting here having my morning coffee and looking around my nearly-empty apartment. Skyler and I are moving out at the end of this month, and we’ve already taken most of our things to his parents’ house. They’re going to store our possessions for a few months while we go on a summer roadtrip! It’s super weird because we’ve lived in this townhome ever since we moved to Denton three years ago. As much as I love being in this location, since I graduated university I really just want a fresh start in a new home. So the road will be our home for a few months as we explore the West Coast (AKA the BEST coast). Then after that: who knows! We’ll figure out where we want to be. In preparation for our roadtrip I decided to order some bikinis from the trendy online store Zaful. Read More »
I’ve seen the used and abused makeup blog posts and videos floating around for years now, so I figured I would share some of my favorite used and abused products. I’m so used to taking photos of makeup in pristine packaging and doing my best to make it look as nice as possible. I think this makeup tag is fun because it opens your eyes to the products you love the most. If I have products that I have hit pan on then I know it’s an item I really enjoy and will almost definitely repurchase. All of these products are old news, but to me they’re worthwhile products that I will continue to purchase again and again.Read More »
